Who or what is 'Karelle'?

The short version of the story: it is inspired by a Slavic name that means 'strength and joy'

The longer version: my friend Amy found out that I don't have a middle name. She set out to find me a middle name that would fit with my first name, Dianna, and also a name that is unique and has meaning. For Christmas, she presented me with the name Karel and I eventually ended up adjusting it for a business name.
