First of all, I'm thankful for your sweet friendship. I feel like I'm spending time with a friend when you're over here and when we talk and secondly, you're always so professional and so prepared. You are patient with babies and are easy to work with around the baby schedule of napping, eating, etc. It's always a nice experience and if your "client" can pee on your leather chair and you can shrug it off and laugh, well, there's not much else to say other than you're a great and easy going photographer. Thanks as always.

As a performing artist, it is paramount that my images convey the message I seek to share with my audience. Dianna mysteriously and immediately captured who I am and what I am trying to say. She needed no instruction in the matter, for her innate sensitivity to me, her subject, is what guided her--this is what makes Ms. Montoya not a photographer, but an artist. I am most thankful for her God-given ability.

Dianna did such a phenomenal job on our baby girls newborn pictures. Our little girl was a little squirmy, and Dianna captured the sweetest pictures that we will always cherish. She was so fun to work with and you can tell that she is a natural behind the camera because she captures real moments. We will definitely be using her again in the future for more pictures of our family!

When I started thinking about having a family picture done I knew that I didn't want a formal, posed photo. I wanted pictures that reflected who we are and the love we have for one another. My parents were visiting, and as we all get older and deal with health issues I'm always so aware of how blesssed we are to be with one another and I never take it for granted. We also have children who are leaving the nest and starting off on their own...a family photo to remember these special days together seemed appropiate. I began looking around at the web sites of different photographers and stumbled across Karelle Photography and Dianna's work....I was immediately struck by the genius of her work...how she captured emotions in the pictures she took...her use of light and texture..
and I knew I had found the perfect person to put my memories in picture form. I was so excited as the day of our session approached...I had some great "ideas" to get the kind of pictures I wanted. On the day of the photo shoot nothing went the way I thought it would...it was hot...texas hot...and my teenagers shot down every one of my "ideas" as "absurd and silly"....by the end of the session I wasn't sure if Dianna had managed to catch a single good shot.....and then, when I saw the pictures for the first time, I cried all the way through them....they were everything I had hoped for and so much more....my family, laughing, smiling, being silly...the looks I knew so well, the pointing finger, the warm hugs, the sly smile, the boys wrestling...and in every one of those shots I see love and respect and fun and joy...how Dianna did it I'll never know....my favorite pictures will never be the the ones of us all smiling nicely...although I have to admit we've never looked better, ha!...my favorites will always be of those moments I see all the time...my mom sitting looking at her hand that she holds in this weird double jointed angle.....my father standing "at attention" when my mother tells him to "straighten up"....my oldest making a fist as his brother delights in tormenting him.....real, everyday moments that capture countless
memories.... GREAT pictures that remind all of us that we are
blessed....and we knew the love of family in these spendid days of May 2008. I encourage you to check them out for yourself in Dianna's blog or in her portrait studio under "The Thiessen Family" . Even more, I encourage you to invest in pictures that are priceless.....treasured heirlooms you'll hold dear all your life...I'm so glad I did.
